In 1980, with the assistance of Mike Wendt, the Southwest Chapter was formed. Mike, along with his father Fritz Wendt, Lee Patt, Dave Domboski, Wayne Hoelzel, Jerry Oreich, Mike Schrage and Glenn Ninneman organized and formed the Southwest Chapter.
The Southwest Chapter is proud to partner with local business, and the North Fond du Lac high school to build a state-of-the-art Sturgeon Shanty that is used to raffle off at the yearly banquet. It is because of our generous sponsors and supporters of the organization, that we can continually have a successful banquet to raise thousands of dollars to support Sturgeon for Tomorrow.
